Our Quality Standard

When you buy from Hover Wireless, you know exactly what you are getting, regardless of which stock you select. Our units undergo a very strict grading and quality control process following the industry standard guidelines of GSM Exchange using the certified Phone Check. They may have 2% cosmetic variations on the A+ Grade, A Grade and AB Grade. They may have 5% cosmetic variations on the B Grade. 3% minor issues except the key function should be acceptable by buyers.

Grading Guidelines

brand new and sealed

Brand New

Devices are brand new and sealed in original box. All accessories are in the original plastic. Devices have never been used. Devices pass all functionality tests, are ready for activation and have no iCloud lock.

Excellent Condition

A Grade

A used device that is in Excellent condition and may have minimal imperfections on the screen or housing.

  • Fully tested, fully functional
  • No cracks or bad LCDs
  • No ID lock
  • No more than four light scratches on screen and housing combined
  • No dings or scuffs on housing
  • LCD may not have any spots or light marks

Fair condition

B Grade

A used device that is in Fair condition with heavy imperfections from use.

  • Fully tested, fully functional
  • No cracks or bad LCDs
  • No ID lock
  • May have numerous heavy scratches on screen and housing
  • May have numerous heavy dings or scuffs on housing
  • May have a bent

Brand new with absolute

A+ Grade

A used device that looks like Brand new with absolute no flaws or imperfections on the screen or housing.

  • Fully tested &fully functional
  • No cracks or bad LCDs
  • No ID lock
  • No scratches on screen
  • No scratches or imperfections on housing
  • LCD not have any spots or light marks

regular / heavy use

C Grade

Devices are used and have signs of regular / heavy use. Devices have multiple scratches and possible dents on the housing. Devices DO NOT have cracked front glass. Devices pass all functionality tests, are ready for activation, and have no iCloud lock.

good lcd and digitizer

PGL – Power Up/Good LCD

Devices power up and have a good lcd and digitizer. Units are not fully functional. Issues include bad buttons, speakers etc. Units are not cosmetically graded. ( MIXED ) Device activation is not guaranteed. Devices are restored and have no iCloud lock.
